Top 13 Sites To Promote Your Book For Free

Becoming a published author can be hard and sometimes, daunting work. You have to proofread, edit and even convert your book into acceptable formats before you can publish it.

You'd think your job would be done when you've finished writing the book?

If you're signed to a publishing house, the answer is usually yes.

If you happen to be an indie author(that's author speak for self published author) then your work has only just begun.

You may have written the best book, have the most amazing cover and even a superb blurb. All that means nothing if there's no one to read it.

That's where promotion sites come in. They put your book in front of hungry, voracious readers on the hunt for the next great read.

There's a caveat though. These sites charge to promote your book. After spending so much on editors, graphics designers and proofreaders, paying for countless sites to promote your book can be detrimental to your budget.

In this post, I have compiled a list of 13 sites that offer free promotions. Yep! These sites will let you promote your book without paying a dime. They have paid promotions as well if you'd like to get their premium offers.

1.Racheal's Book Cave : At Racheal's book cave, you can promote not only permafree books, on sale books but also bargain books. You can visit the site to find out which genres of books are accepted.

2. Patty's Ebookaroo : If your genre falls in the science fiction, fantasy and paranormal categories then Patty Jansen has a spot for you. She'll post your book on her website and in her newsletter provided the book is permafree or $0.99

3.Diabolic Shrimp: Diabolic shrimp will read, review and promote your book on their site at no extra cost to you! You don't even have to join to list your book on their site.

4.ItsWriteNow : In short the only books that IWN will not consider for promotion are erotica, or have covers that look like the book is erotica, or show naked people, or promote/encourage or give step-by-step instructions on how to do illegal things.

If your book doesn't fall into any of the above categories, then you might want to give ItsWriteNow a whirl

5.EbookStage : Ebookstage has two options for you to promote with them. 1)You can promote if you pay a fee. Or 2)You join their affiliates program.

Here's how the affiliates program works; When you sign up to ebookstage, you gain 80points. Each person you refer will gain you 20points. You need 120 points to be able to promote with them using this option so that means you have to refer two other persons (it could be your neighbor, relative, friend, another author.... anyone)

6.Awesomegang: has both free and paid promotions for it's authors. They also grant author interviews. (More visibility for you at no extra cost)

7.  Best Book Monkey: Offers both free and paid promotions to authors. Is your book in KU? On the day of your promotion(whether it's a countdown deal or free book) Bestbookmonkey will feature your book at the top of their site.
